Application recommendations for human hair extensions

Below we explain how to clean extensions that are worn permanently (for example keratin bonds or tape extensions) as best as possible. Proceed as follows:

Before washing, the hair should be detangled with an extension brush. The hair should then be thoroughly moistened with water. Depending on the thickness and length of your hair, a hazelnut- to walnut-sized amount of the product is sufficient. Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp until a soft lather forms. It should then be thoroughly rinsed out with warm water. After treatment with the care shampoo, we recommend treating the mids and ends with a hair mask. The water should not be too hot when washing your hair. For an extra portion of shine, you can rinse your hair briefly with cold or cool water at the end - this helps to close the cuticle.

The hair should not be washed upside down!

If your tapes or bond extensions have just been installed, you should wait 48 hours before washing your hair for the first time, as the connection points must fully harden.

If you want to wash your clip-in extensions, please wash them all separately in the sink. Here, too, make sure that the shampoo is gently massaged into damp hair and that a hair mask is used. Extensions that are not worn permanently need to be washed less often - depending on how often they are worn.
